Tel Aviv-based Sentrycs, an Israeli company specializing in counter-drone measures, has been included in the UK National Protective Security Authority Catalogue of Security Equipment (NPSA CSE). The Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) solution was added after a thorough assessment by the NPSA, focusing on its capabilities in Detection, Tracking, and Identification (DTI).
Sentrycs’ C-UAS is specifically designed to detect and intercept unauthorized drones in various environments such as airports, borders, and mass events. The assessment was carried out at the NPSA’s testing site in August 2023. During the assessment, Sentrycs’ system showcased exceptional capabilities across several security scenarios. It demonstrated high accuracy in detecting and tracking suspicious drones while also avoiding false alarms.
Sentrycs CEO Yoav Zaltzman expressed pride in having their technology recognized by the UK National Protective Security Authority. He emphasized that being listed in the CSE is not just an honor but also a validation of their technology’s reliability and effectiveness in enhancing airspace security measures. This recognition underscores Sentrycs’ commitment to contributing to the constantly evolving security landscape.
