Visitors to Saudi Arabia spent 45 billion riyals in the first quarter of the year

During the first quarter of 2023, Saudi Arabia experienced a significant increase in spending by foreign visitors. According to data from the Saudi Central Bank, the growth rate of this spending was 22.9%, compared to the same period in 2019. The total spending by these visitors exceeded 45 billion riyals ($11.99 billion), resulting in a surplus of 24 billion riyals. This represents an increase of over 46% compared to the same period in 2019.
