Russian Authorities Find Evidence Linking Ukrainian Nationalists to Moscow Theater Attack

The Russian authorities have confirmed that evidence linking Ukrainian nationalists to the deadly attack on a concert theater has been found. The attack took place at the Crocus City Hall concert hall on the outskirts of Moscow, resulting in at least 143 deaths.

The Russian Investigative Committee arrested another possible suspect involved in financing terrorists, in addition to eight other suspects related to the attack on terrorism charges. They also obtained confirmed data showing a connection between the attackers and Ukrainian nationalists through their investigation.

Despite this, the White House criticized Russia for trying to link Ukraine to the attack, calling them “garbage sellers” for spreading propaganda. However, Russia continues to search for a “Ukrainian footprint” in the incident, despite admitting that the attack was carried out by Islamists.

Ukraine has denied any involvement in the attack, which is considered the deadliest in Russia in 20 years. The Federal Security Service (FSB) had previously arrested eleven people, including four terrorists directly involved in the attack, who were attempting to escape to Ukraine.
