Arthur Relton has officially signed with the Cornish Pirates for the upcoming 2024-25 season. The club announced their latest addition in the form of Exeter winger Arthur Relton, who has secured a permanent deal with the team.
At just 23 years old, Relton has already proven himself to be a formidable player on the field, scoring 13 tries in 27 appearances while on dual registration with the Championship club. Having previously represented England at the Under-20 level, Relton brings a wealth of talent and experience to the Pirates. He spent time in the youth section of the Penzance-based club before making the move to Exeter, where he continued to shine on the field.
Relton is fleet-footed and elusive, with speed and agility being key assets on the field. The coaching staff at the Pirates are thrilled to have a player of his caliber join their ranks, with joint-head coach Gavin Cattle expressing his excitement about what he brings to the team. “We’re very pleased that Arthur has agreed to come and play for us,” said Cattle. “He’s got some great talent, and we think he can be a real asset to our squad.”
The Pirates are eager to see how Relton continues to develop and grow as a player. By nurturing his skills and providing opportunities for him to excel, they hope that he will become an even greater asset to their team in future seasons.
