The Arizona Cardinals are currently enjoying their first week of summer break after completing their offseason program, with 83 days remaining until they face the Buffalo Bills in Week 1. Rookie receiver Tejhaun Palmer, who was drafted in the sixth round this year, currently wears No. 83 on the team. However, Palmer has yet to make an impact on the team and faces a tough challenge in making the roster.
Meanwhile, receiver Greg Dortch has switched from No. 83 to No. 4 following Rondale Moore’s trade to the Atlanta Falcons this offseason. Despite playing for the Cardinals for the past three seasons and not putting up big numbers, Dortch has shown that he can produce results when given the opportunity to play on offense.
Looking ahead, Dortch could potentially become the team’s starting slot receiver in 2024, which may lead to him having a more impactful role wearing No. 4 than he did at No. 83.
