Following the success of Quarterback on Netflix last year, the producers of the show struggled to find enough quarterbacks for the second season. Instead of sticking with the same position, they decided to shift focus to a new position – Receiver. In putting together the roster for Receiver, a popular pass-catching tight end, Travis Kelce, was asked to join the lineup.
During an appearance on the Bussin’ with the Boys podcast, Kelce revealed that he turned down the opportunity to be part of the show. Despite being asked after Patrick Mahomes had participated, Kelce decided to decline, stating that he preferred to focus on playing football and was not interested in participating in reality television anymore.
