A man is under investigation by the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office after an alleged ATM theft in Boyce. On February 12, at around 4:55 a.m., a man approached a business in the 5500 block of Old Boyce Road and backed up a black Ford Fusion into the building, rammed the front doors, and broke them off the hinges to gain access.
Once inside, RPSO said he took the ATM machine, placed it in his vehicle and left about six minutes later. The black Ford Fusion should have heavy damage to the rear and is missing side mirrors. It lost its rear bumper and several undercarriage items.
The suspect is wanted for simple burglary, theft, and criminal damage to property. The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating the burglary and asking for any information related to the incident.
