Rai has issued a disciplinary complaint to journalist Serena Bortone for a post she published on her social media accounts on April 20, related to the Scurati affair. The company has requested justifications and clarifications from the journalist, as announced in Viale Mazzini. CEO Roberto Sergio emphasized that this is not a disciplinary measure but a request for explanations, and the company will decide on further actions based on the clarifications received.

The complaint against Bortone stems from a violation of company policy regulations regarding public statements about company activities, news, or events.
