The Xfinity and Cup Series are set to race at Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday. The Xfinity teams will take to the 2.66-mile superspeedway, while Cup teams will qualify for Sunday’s 500-mile race. Additionally, the ARCA Menards Series teams will also be in action for a Saturday afternoon race. This marks the 36th Xfinity race at Talladega, with Jeb Burton as the defending winner. Burton has two wins at Talladega since 2021, and AJ Allmendinger is the only other driver in the lineup with an Xfinity win at Talladega.
The Dash 4 Cash program features four drivers competing for a $100,000 bonus: Sam Mayer, Ryan Sieg, Justin Allgaier, and Allmendinger. Chevrolet has won nine consecutive Xfinity races at Talladega, with Kaulig Racing contributing four of those victories. Ford has not won an Xfinity race at Talladega since 2017, and Toyota has not won since 2014.
