On March 20th around 4 p.m., a nine-year-old girl was allegedly bitten by one of the dogs in a fairy tale forest located on Krechtinger Straße in Hamminkeln, North Rhine-Westphalia. According to the police, two unidentified women were seen with three dogs in the area at the time of the incident.
The child was playing in the forest when she suddenly felt something sharp on her thigh and bottom. She ran to a nearby friend’s house to report what had happened. When her parents arrived with the dogs, they were nowhere to be found.
One of the dogs is believed to be a Shiba Inu, but despite initial investigations, no progress has been made in locating the women and their dogs. The police are asking for more witnesses or information about the dogs and their owners. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Wesel police at 0281/107-0.
