Pittsburgh’s Overbrook Neighborhood Shaken by Robbery at Sky Spa: Employee Attacked with Gun, No Sign of Stolen Goods

Robbery at Overbrook business results in employee being pistol-whipped – WPXI

On Monday evening, a robbery took place at Sky Spa located in Pittsburgh’s Overbrook neighborhood. The incident occurred just before 7:50 p.m., with first responders arriving at the scene in the 2500 block of Library Road. A female employee was pistol-whipped during the robbery while she was letting a customer out the door.

Two masked men forced entry into the business and attacked the employee. Despite the presence of four other employees and three customers on a different floor, they did not witness the attack. The victim mentioned to police that she saw one gun before being struck in the head. It is not currently known what, if anything, was taken from the business during the robbery.
