Outstanding Contributions: College Celebrates its Stars with Impact and Excellence Awards

The Impact and Excellence Awards recognized over 50 students, faculty, and staff for their outstanding contributions to the college community. Among the winners was the Super Science Club, which was awarded Outstanding Club or Organization of the Year. A group of a dozen club members and advisors accepted the prestigious award on stage, including club President Bryant Pepe, a third-year physics and earth science student. Pepe expressed his excitement over winning the award, stating that it felt like all their hard work had paid off. He emphasized the club’s dedication to providing the best possible experience for its students and community, highlighting the impact they were able to make.

Adventure Society President Ben Surosky was another winner, receiving the award for Outstanding Club or Organization Member of the Year. Surosky, a third-year Spanish student, shared his happiness at winning the award, stating that he was grateful for the opportunity to lead the club. He expressed his satisfaction in seeing how far the club had come under his leadership. The Impact and Excellence Awards honored a diverse range of individuals who have made significant contributions to the college community through their hard work and dedication.
