Nicaragua has officially left the Organization of American States (OAS) after completing a two-year exit process. The Nicaraguan government celebrated this departure, as they viewed it as a way to remove themselves from an organization tied to the interests of the United States. However, the United States is considering imposing new sanctions on the Ortega regime in response to their actions. Meanwhile, opposition leaders in Argentina congratulated Javier Milei on his electoral victory, while human rights organizations and the OAS have urged Nicaragua to respect all human rights.
