New Les Schwab Tire Center Comes to Marshall: Construction Underway on Former Quist Moving & Storage Location

Construction is currently underway at the former Quist Moving & Storage location on the corner of East Main Street and Boyer Drive in Marshall. The property is being developed into a new Les Schwab Tire Center, although specific details about the construction project were not available at this time. The Marshall Economic Development Authority made the announcement on social media.

In 2023, Quist Moving & Storage sold their East Main Street property due to the need for more space. The company had outgrown their original building and relocated to a new facility along Minnesota Highway 23, expanding their presence in the area. Les Schwab Tire Centers, founded in Oregon in 1952, has purchased the property and will open a new location in Marshall. The center offers a range of products and services related to tires, brakes, wheels, alignment, batteries, shocks, and struts. This new location will provide convenient access to these services for local residents. Currently, there are no Les Schwab Tire Center locations closer to Marshall than those in Sioux Falls and Watertown, South Dakota.

The development of this new business signifies a significant change for the area, bringing a new service to the corner of East Main Street and Boyer Drive. Construction work is progressing rapidly and it’s expected that Les Schwab Tire Center will be open for customers soon.
