New Leadership Brings Change and Hope to Wyoming’s Veterans’ Homes and Life Resource Centers

The Wyoming Department of Health (WDH) is making changes to its healthcare facilities management with the appointment of new administrators at two key locations. In Buffalo, Greg Meredith has been appointed as the new administrator for the Veterans’ Home of Wyoming (VHW), which provides domiciliary care and skilled nursing care to Wyoming veterans. Meredith, a licensed nursing home administrator and native of Buffalo, brings deep experience in patient care, behavioral analysis, and leadership to his new role.

Meanwhile, in Lander, the Wyoming Life Resource Center (WLRC) is also undergoing changes with the appointment of James West as interim administrator following the resignation of Jeremy Forbis. West, who is also the administrator of the WLRC intermediate care facility, will lead the facility while it searches for a permanent administrator. Matt Petry, Behavioral Health Division senior administrator with WDH, expressed confidence in West’s leadership and the dedication of staff to provide exemplary care to residents.

Both VHW and WLRC play crucial roles in serving the healthcare needs of their respective communities by providing high-quality care to their residents. With new leadership in place, these facilities are well-positioned to continue their important work and contribute to improving healthcare outcomes for those they serve.
