New Jersey Numbers Unveiled for Denver Broncos Rookies and Transfers: From Bo Nix’s Decision to Wide Receiver Troy Franklin’s Change

The Denver Broncos have announced jersey number changes for some of their players. Bo Nix, the team’s quarterback, has decided to keep his number from college and high school and will wear the No. 10 jersey for the team. This means that two other quarterbacks on the Broncos’ roster will have new numbers. Zach Wilson, who was initially assigned No. 10 when he was traded from the Jets to the Broncos, has agreed to give up the number for Nix and will now wear No. 4. Jarrett Stidham, who wore No. 4 last year in Denver, will now wear No. 8.

In addition to the quarterback jersey number changes, the Broncos also announced jersey numbers for their other draft picks. Outside Linebacker Jonah Elliss will wear No. 52, Wide Receiver Troy Franklin will wear No. 16, Cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine will wear No. 31, Running Back Audric Estime will wear No. 37, Wide Receiver Devaughn Vele will wear No. 81, and Guard Nick Gargiulo will wear No. 66.

Each player now has their official number for the upcoming season.

The Denver Broncos have made some significant changes to their roster this offseason, including trading for a new quarterback and selecting several talented players in the draft. With these additions comes a need to assign new jersey numbers to some of their players.

Bo Nix is one of three quarterbacks on the Broncos’ roster and has chosen to keep his number from college and high school by wearing no specific number but instead opted for wearing no number at all which is not allowed in NFL so finally he settled with wearing no#10 jersey.

Zach Wilson was originally assigned no#10 when he was traded from Jets but since Bo Nix already holds that number Wilson had to give it up and now he’ll be wearing no#4 instead.

Jarrett Stidham who wore no#4 last year in Denver had to change his number again as Bo Nix also took that number leaving Stidham with no#8.

In addition to these changes in jersey numbers for quarterbacks, other draft picks were also assigned new numbers such as outside linebacker Jonah Elliss who will be wearing no#52 , wide receiver Troy Franklin who opted for no#16 , cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine who settled on no#31 , running back Audric Estime who went with no#37 , wide receiver Devaughn Vele who chose
