AFWERX and SpaceWERX Issue Call for Space-Related Technology Submissions

The Department of the Air Force’s commercial investment arm AFWERX AFVentures has announced the release of two programs to support space technology submissions. The STRATFI and TACFI notice of opportunity is now available through SpaceWERX, with funding ranging from $3 million to $15 million and $375,000 to $1.9 million, respectively.

These programs aim to provide financial assistance for Small Business Concerns (SBCs) with Phase II Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) contracts that have been running for at least 90 days or completed within two years of submitting a capability package. To be eligible for the program, interested parties must submit a capability package by the deadline of April 12.

Under the latest rules, only an SBC’s government point of contact can submit the package on their behalf. AFWERX AFVentures encourages interested parties to stay updated on these programs to learn more about the support available for space technology submissions.
