Nebraska Cornhuskers have extended a scholarship offer to Michael Clayton, a four-star quarterback from Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida. This is the fourth Big Ten school to do so this month. Clayton had an impressive sophomore season at Edgewater High School, leading them to an 11-1 record. He threw for 1,902 yards with 18 touchdowns and nine interceptions.
The offer from Nebraska makes it the fourth Big Ten school to extend a scholarship to Clayton this month. He has also received offers from the Iowa Hawkeyes, Michigan State Spartans, and Maryland Terrapins. However, currently, Nebraska has no commitments for the class of 2026.
Clayton expressed his excitement about the offer on Twitter, thanking the University of Nebraska and mentioning some coaches. Fans can stay updated on Nebraska news by following @CornhuskersWire on Twitter and liking their page on Facebook for ongoing coverage.
