National Salon Chain Shuts Down Sioux Falls and Rapid City Locations, Refunds Membership Fees

The Sioux Falls Drybar located at Empire Place has officially closed its doors as the owner searches for a new franchisee to take over the business. Sunday marked the final day of operations for the salon, which was situated in front of The Empire Mall.

In addition to the Sioux Falls location, Drybar’s Rapid City branch also closed down due to unforeseen circumstances. The closure was announced in a statement released by the business, expressing gratitude to their team and clients. All memberships have been canceled, and any membership fees processed in April are being refunded to customers.

The franchisor is currently working on selling the shops with the hopes of reopening them soon. In the meantime, gift cards and saved member benefits can still be used at other Drybar locations across the country. Despite the closures, the teams at both locations had a lot of fun serving customers with great hair and mimosas, creating memories that will be cherished.

For any inquiries or concerns, individuals can contact Drybar via email at [email protected]. This national salon chain specializes in blowouts first opened its doors in Sioux Falls last summer. Unfortunately, Hawaii Fluid Art, a neighboring business at the same retail center, also unexpectedly closed earlier this year.
