On Wednesday, the Helsinki Stock Exchange closed down 0.01 percent at 10,109 points. Despite this decline, smaller companies such as Incap, Digia, Administer, and Relais experienced significant boosts from their results announcements. The OMXH general index saw a decrease of 0.7 percent at the cutting edge Nordic.
Sampo was among the most exchanged shares and saw the biggest gains with a 2.4 percent increase. Life insurer and asset manager Mandatum saw a 5.4 percent decrease as their results report did not meet investors’ expectations. Housing investor Kojamo also reported a disappointing 6.2 percent decrease in their numbers due to falling short of forecasts.
Some companies like Incap and Digia exceeded analysts’ expectations with their results, while others like Mandatum and Kojamo failed to meet them. Wednesday’s announcements included earnings reports from various other companies such as Elecster, Sanoma, Vietnam, Investors House among others who reported mixed results with some meeting or exceeding expectations while others fell short of them.
