Midland Valley Mustangs Overcome Delay to Secure Pivotal Win over Easley

On Wednesday night, Midland Valley’s softball team faced off against Easley in a pivotal elimination game. The Mustangs had waited an extra night to play due to a storm the previous day, and this delay fueled their determination as they took the field.

Despite the frustration of waiting, Midland Valley quickly took control of the game. They scored four runs in the first two innings, thanks to their impressive offensive performance and solid defense. Pitchers Karley Bedenbaugh and Larue Hicks were outstanding on the mound, while the team’s defense proved impenetrable for Easley, allowing only one hit throughout the game.

On offense, Midland Valley was dominant, with 10 hits. Bailey Seabolt stood out with a perfect 4-for-4 at-bat, showcasing her skills with a double, two stolen bases, and a run scored.
