Microsoft announced on Thursday that it will add Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to its Microsoft suite of company enterprise tools and applications.
In a news release, Microsoft stated its new AI function, referred to as Copilot, will be constructed off of “the power of substantial language models (LLMs) with company enterprise data and the Microsoft 365 apps, to unleash creativity, unlock productivity and uplevel capabilities.”
Microsoft also stated that prospects can make a choice what to preserve, modify, or discard when employing the function, saying that with the new tools, prospects can be “more inventive in Word, added analytical in Excel, added expressive in PowerPoint, added productive in Outlook and added collaborative in Teams.”
The most up-to-date Copilot function will be provided to use by means of Microsoft 365 apps such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Power Platform, and Firm Chat.

The announcement comes as the corporation announced earlier this year that its new premium messaging service, Teams Premium, will be powered by Open AI’s ChatGPT messaging service.
