LSU is in a commanding 2-0 lead over Texas in the recruitment battle for four-star defensive lineman Brandon Brown. Brown has visited LSU and received predictions from On3’s Billy Embody and Shea Dixon to flip his commitment to the Tigers. With only two days left before he makes a final decision, Brown is considering other programs such as Tennessee, USC, and Oklahoma.
In recent weeks, LSU has also been actively recruiting four-star defensive lineman Zion Williams and EDGE Damien Shanklin. Both players have committed to LSU on Thursday and Friday, respectively, with Williams being the frontrunner for the position. While coach Brian Kelly and the coaching staff may still be actively recruiting for more defensive line talent, it looks like they are well on their way to building a formidable defensive front for the 2025 season.
