In the Kansas City metro area, a small business called Annie’s Barn has created a unique mug that pays homage to Donna Kelce, the mother of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce. The mug features the recipe and directions for Donna’s famous chocolate chip cookies and sells for about $18.

When Annie’s Barn owner Annie Stowe learned that Donna had purchased 20 of the mugs as Christmas gifts, she reached out to her and asked if she could put her cookie recipe on a mug and donate $5 per mug sold to pay off elementary school lunch debt. Donna agreed, and enough mugs were sold to pay off about $2,000 toward lunch debt at a school in the area.

Stowe said that when the Chiefs do well, she does well, and this is her little way to give back. She added that she had asked Donna if she wanted to deliver the checks to the school with her, but so far, she has not heard back.

Donna Kelce’s cookies became well known after she made them for her sons before they met in Super Bowl LVII in February 2023. If you are interested in purchasing one of these unique mugs, you can visit Annie’s Barn’s website.
