The Local Business Dodgeball Tournament is coming to St. Joseph next month, bringing with it the chance for participants to prove their dodgeball prowess. Rhonda Juell, Director of St. Joe Parks and Recreation, was inspired by a successful tournament in Arizona and decided to organize an event of her own. She reached out to local businesses to gauge interest and received a positive response.
The tournament will take place on May 29th at Kennedy Community School and is open to all businesses, both local and outside of St. Joseph. Each team must have a minimum of eight players and there is a $20 registration fee per team with a deadline of May 23rd. To learn more about the event or to register, visit the provided link.
Juell hopes to attract 16 teams for the double-elimination format tournament, with the winning team receiving a championship trophy as recognition for their efforts. This event promises to be an exciting opportunity for local businesses to come together for some friendly competition while promoting community camaraderie through sport. Don’t miss out on this first-of-its-kind event in St. Joseph!
