Kid Cudi’s performance at Coachella was cut short after he suffered an injury during his set. While performing his hit song “Memories,” the Ohio-native rapper twisted his ankle and had to be escorted off the stage. Cudi later confirmed that he had broken his foot during the incident.
The rapper announced the cancellation of his Insano Engage the Rage World Tour, which was scheduled to kick off in June and include over 40 concerts across North America and Europe. Fans who purchased tickets for the tour will receive full refunds, and new tour dates will be rescheduled as soon as possible.
Cudi expressed his disappointment in having to cancel the tour but acknowledged the severity of his injury. He emphasized the importance of taking time to heal in order to give his best performance in the future. The rapper’s ninth studio album, “Insano,” which features 20 tracks, served as the inspiration for the now-cancelled tour.
Despite the setback, Kid Cudi remains appreciative of his fans’ support and looks forward to returning to the stage once he has fully recovered.
