The agricultural world is a vital sector in Italy, and the government is committed to defending it with conviction. This was made clear by Patrizio La Pietra, the undersecretary of Masaf, at a meeting held at the ministry with representatives from Agricultural redemption.
During the meeting, La Pietra announced the establishment of a coordination table for work in agriculture. This table will bring together ministries, unions, and organizations to discuss labor costs, manpower procurement, flow management, training, and simplification.
The government is also considering introducing new policies that will benefit the majority of farmers. These policies will be soon introduced and new discussions will begin with regions and agricultural organizations to identify supply chains for support interventions.
In addition to these policies, there are plans to revise the insurance system to lower the cost of insurance policies for farmers and expand the pool of insured people. This will help farmers against catastrophic risks and provide them with greater protection.
