Hamas and Islamic Jihad Prepared for Constructive Deal

Hamas and Islamic Jihad have expressed their willingness to reach a positive agreement on a ceasefire, according to reports. Meanwhile, an Israeli government representative has indicated support for the UN resolution for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. However, Israel will not end the war until all of its war aims are achieved, including destroying Hamas’ military capabilities and ensuring that Gaza will not pose a threat in the future.

On Tuesday, Palestinian sources reported that at least three people were killed during Israel’s military operation in Jenin. The Ministry of Health in Ramallah made the announcement. A special unit of the Israeli army carried out a raid in Kafr Dan, north of Jenin, where armed Palestinians opened fire on them. The troops responded and were supported by a combat helicopter during the battle. According to Israeli media, members of an undercover special unit entered the town to make an arrest.

Jenin and surrounding areas are known as strongholds of militant Palestinians, leading to repeated raids by the Israeli army. Since October 7th when Hamas carried out a massacre, more than 500 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli military operations or attacks according to the Ministry of Health in the West Bank. There has also been an increase in settler violence against Palestinians due to this conflict
