Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has emphasized that his country will not be sending weapons or soldiers to Ukraine in support of NATO member states. He stressed the importance of caution when considering the possibility of deploying troops, highlighting the need for diplomacy and open communication channels with Russia.

Hungary has a close relationship with Russia, opposing the idea of sending additional funds and weapons to Kyiv. Despite this stance, Prime Minister Orbán has kept in touch with Russian President Vladimir Putin, even congratulating him on his recent election victory, which was viewed as fraudulent by many Western countries.
