Female Information Systems Graduate Empowers Women in Business and STEM Fields

Aima Osime, a graduate of Cal State Fullerton’s College of Business and Economics, has made a significant impact on the university during her time as a student. Osime, who majored in information systems, founded Women in Business and STEM, a supportive community for female students at Cal State Fullerton who are interested in pursuing careers in business, science, engineering, math, and technology.

Throughout the 2023-24 academic year, Osime served as one of three student representatives on the Dean’s Advisory Board. In this role, she ensured that the college’s strategic planning took into account the perspectives of the Gen Z student demographic. Osime’s involvement in leadership roles and initiatives demonstrates her commitment to making a difference in her community and empowering women in male-dominated fields.

Osime’s experience as a Titan has been filled with high points, inspiration, and valuable lessons. She is eager to share her advice, inspiration, and insights with others who are following in her footsteps.
