Heroes Lost: Tragic Helicopter Crash in Ecuador’s Amazon Region Kills Five

In Pastaza, Ecuador’s Amazon region, a devastating tragedy occurred today as a helicopter carrying five soldiers and three civilians crashed. The Risk Management Secretariat officials were en route to deliver humanitarian aid to remote communities of the Waorani indigenous people when the incident took place.
