Heart’s Ann Wilson Shares Health Update and Postpones North American Tour Dates

Ann Wilson, frontwoman of the iconic rock band Heart, has announced that they are postponing their remaining dates on their North American tour as part of the Royal Flush Tour and Journey/Def Leppard Stadium tour. This decision comes after Wilson underwent an operation to remove something cancerous, which was successful. However, her doctors have recommended a course of preventive chemotherapy for her to fully recover.

In a press statement, Wilson revealed that she has decided to undergo this treatment and will be taking the rest of the year away from the stage. She plans to return to the stage in 2025. Wilson assured fans that this is just a temporary pause and she has more to sing. Fans are encouraged to hold on to their tickets for the postponed dates.

Heart’s European tour dates were also canceled back in May due to health issues with another member of the band. The North American leg of their tour started in April with Cheap Trick as support on most dates, while Squeeze was set to open on a few of the now-canceled summer European dates.

Heart, founded by sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson in 1974, embarked on the Royal Flush tour after a five-year hiatus. They have since become one of the most influential bands in rock history, making a mark with their powerful vocals and hard rock sound. They were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 2013 for their contributions to the industry and continue to inspire generations of musicians today.
