From Outdated to State-of-the-Art: Morningside University’s New Business School Building

A $2 million donation from alumnus Tom Rosen has enabled Morningside University to construct a new facility for its growing School of Business program. The new building, which will be located between the Science Center and Learning Center, will accommodate 300 students and house three additional majors that will be added in the coming year.

The current facility, the Lincoln Center, is nearly 50 years old and has become inadequate for the program’s expanding student population. With the new building, school leaders hope to provide a space that can house all of the School of Business students and offer state-of-the-art technology to enhance their learning experience.

Morningside University plans to keep the Lincoln Center and potentially repurpose it as a new welcome center for the campus community. While the planning and design process is just getting started, university leaders are excited about the potential benefits that the new building will bring to both current and future students.

Overall, the new building will not only meet the current needs of the School of Business program but also allow for future growth and development as the program continues to expand.
