A life-changing event led Shaana Dean, a resident of Fort Pierce, to discover a new passion for baking and spending quality time with her family. After returning from maternity leave and finding herself unexpectedly out of a job, she started taking orders through her website and selling her delicious cookies at events in Port St. Lucie.
Dean has always had a deep passion for baking, but it wasn’t until she started surprising her loved ones with homemade cookies that she realized the potential for her talent. She combined her love for baking with caring for her young baby by starting The Cookie House. Through this business venture, she has been able to turn her passion into something tangible and fulfilling.
The cookie business has experienced a surge in popularity, with flavors like blueberry lemon and churro becoming customer favorites. Dean is grateful for the support of her community and the opportunity to share her love of baking with others.
