Carl Edwards Jr. has recently signed a minor league deal with the San Diego Padres, according to the team’s transaction log. The 32-year-old pitcher has had a storied career in Major League Baseball, most recently playing with the Washington Nationals in 2023 where he had a 3.69 ERA in 32 appearances spanning 31.2 innings.
