Kiah Helget, a senior at New Ulm Cathedral, hit a two-run home run against Nicollet on Monday at Harman Park, leading the Greyhounds to a 16-0 victory in just four innings. The game ended early due to the 15-run lead rule. Helget had an impressive performance, going 4 for 4 with four RBIs.
In an exclusive interview, Helget shared her favorite things. Her go-to food is chicken from Raising Cane’s and her top movie is “The Maze Runner,” specifically the first one. When she’s not on the softball field, she enjoys reading and lifting weights.
When asked about her favorite athlete, Helget gushed about Simone Biles and her incredible gymnastics skills. As for her favorite animal, she declared a love for Golden Retrievers, although she’s yet to convince her parents to get one for her.
