A spider monkey named Ticky has become the talk of The Bronx, thanks to her playful antics and charming personality. At just three years old, Ticky loves to be wherever the action is and has become quite the character. She was recently seen playing around her owner’s tow truck, wearing a diaper and causing a stir among those who see her.
Ticky’s owner, known as “Junior,” takes her with him as he works for his Bronx towing company CBC Automotive. He admits that having Ticky with him is a childhood dream come true, having always wanted a spider monkey since he was a child. Despite it taking him three years to finally get her, Ticky has become his loyal companion and they have become quite popular in The Bronx.
The sudden fame that Ticky has garnered has been both exciting and overwhelming for her and Junior. With more people wanting to take pictures and videos of Ticky, Junior is finding himself fielding more calls and requests than he anticipated. A video of Ticky bouncing in and out of the truck window recently went viral, showcasing her playful and clingy nature.
Junior shared that Ticky is a snow-birding primate, dividing her time between New York City and Florida. While monkeys are not allowed to be kept as pets in New York City, Junior and Ticky continue to enjoy their time in The Bronx where they have become local celebrities due to their playful antics and charming personalities.
