Fairmont State University’s Chelsea Collins Recognized as a Generation Next: 40 Under 40 Finalist for Promoting Wellness and Mental Health on Campus

Chelsea Collins, the Director of Student Health at Fairmont State University, has been named a Generation Next: 40 Under 40 finalist for her outstanding work in promoting wellness and mental health in the university community. At an award ceremony held at the Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center on June 19, Collins was celebrated for her contributions to student health and her efforts to raise awareness about mental health and suicide prevention.

Collins has made significant improvements to the Student Health Center and organized initiatives such as the Stomp Out the Stigma event and the Falcon Mental Health Awareness program. She has also been instrumental in organizing campus wellness fairs that promote health and well-being among students.
