Workshop on the Influence of Technology on Child Development and Mental Health to Be Hosted by Leading Experts

The Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) and the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) are hosting a workshop on April 4th and 5th. The workshop will focus on the impact of technology and digital media on the development and mental well-being of children and adolescents.

Sponsored by the National Institute of Mental Health’s Division of Translational Research and NICHD, the workshop is open to both the scientific community and the general public. Registration is required to participate in this free event.

Experts in technology, child development, and mental health will lead discussions on both the positive and negative effects of technology on young minds. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore current research findings and discuss future directions in this field.

The first day of the workshop will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., while the second day will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.. Participants can expect engaging discussions, interactive activities, and opportunities for networking with experts in their field.
