Webinar on February 13 to Highlight Idaho’s Rural Economy

On Tuesday, Feb. 13th, Labor Economist Ryan Whitesides will be hosting a webinar to discuss the various components of Idaho’s rural economy. The webinar will take place from 11 a.m. to noon MT and will cover topics such as demographics, population, and the different industries that make up rural Idaho’s economy, including public and private sectors, farms, ranches, and national monuments.

Whitesides emphasizes that rural Idaho’s economy can mean different things to different people, and it is not solely based on agriculture, as there are other components such as forests, community gateways to national parks, and more. In this webinar, Whitesides aims to provide a comprehensive overview of rural Idaho’s economy and its various industries.
