Wallace State Community College offers a range of Health Science programs, including Emergency Medical Services, which will be hosting an Application Advising Session on June 27 at 2 p.m. in the Tom Bevill Health Education Building. Other programs available at the meeting include Dental Assisting, Health Information Technology, Medical Assistant, Medical Laboratory Technician, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapist Assistant, Polysomnography (Sleep Lab), and Respiratory Therapy.
The session is open to participants interested in programs with openings for the fall 2024 semester, as well as new applicants. Lisa German, vice president for learning and dean of the Health Science programs, encourages anyone with an interest in the healthcare field to attend the session. It is a great opportunity to learn more about the programs at Wallace State and gain insight into the application process. This session can be particularly beneficial to students who were unable to enroll in another program, as it will show them the additional healthcare opportunities available.
