Exploring Business Opportunities: A Free Vendor Expo in Jackson

The city of Jackson is providing an exceptional opportunity for vendors and those looking to discover more about the city’s departments. On May 6, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., the Carl Perkins Civic Center will host the inaugural City of Jackson Vendor Expo, hosted by the city’s Purchasing Department.

This free event offers vendors a unique chance to interact directly with representatives from various city departments. According to Zach Polk, Purchasing Director for Jackson, “Anybody and everybody is invited to this thing. It’s free. You can come in, talk, meet people, you may learn some new things about the city.” Attendees will also have the chance to learn more about upcoming business opportunities and projects in the city.

The event aims to create an organic approach by allowing face-to-face meetings with people doing business in the city. This is one of the best ways to get new business into an area,” said Polk. No sign-up is needed to attend this exclusive event, so don’t miss out on this opportunity to connect with city departments and discover more about business opportunities in Jackson!
