The fan zone organized by HNS for the Croatia vs. Armenia match at Maksimir was a great hit among fans of the “Fire” team. Before the match, fans enjoyed the hits of Mata Bulić and Tiha Orlić, creating a lively atmosphere. However, despite Croatia’s victory and their direct qualification to the Euro, the celebration was short-lived.
Videos from the fan zone after the match show a modest gathering of around a dozen fans celebrating and singing in an empty parking lot. The reason for this is likely due to the late end time of the match, which was around 11 pm, as well as unfavorable weather conditions. Additionally, Wednesday is a new workday, which meant that many fans had to leave early to get ready for work.
The fans were left with a pile of plastic hours as they reluctantly left the fan zone.
