The UH Amherst Health Center recently held a grand opening, marking the expansion of healthcare services in one convenient location. This new center, located at 915 N. Lake St., Suite 100, provides comprehensive orthopedic care, radiology, physical therapy, an orthopedic urgent care walk-in clinic and a range of other medical specialties including ear, nose and throat, heart and vascular, primary care, pediatrics and women’s health.
Dr. James Voos, chair of the UH Department of Orthopedic Surgery, highlighted the hospital’s commitment to expanding expert care and state-of-the-art facilities throughout Northeast Ohio. He emphasized that this new campus does not change their dedication to providing high-quality care and serving the community. The team at University Hospitals is excited to continue supporting patients and the community for years to come.
In addition to the opening of the health center, a retail pharmacy will open its doors in June further enhancing the services available at UH Amherst. Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Robert Zanotti expressed his excitement about being part of this new comprehensive healthcare center development in Lorain County where he has been serving for 27 years. The expansion aims to provide top-notch healthcare services in one convenient location for the community.
