The Isle of Berk, a new themed world at Universal Orlando Resort, is set to open in 2025. This land is one of five at the Universal Epic Universe theme park and promises visitors an immersive experience like no other.
Based on the popular “How to Train Your Dragon” series, the Isle of Berk transports guests to a rugged and rocky world where Vikings and dragons coexist in harmony. Visitors can look forward to new rides such as Hiccup’s Wing Gliders, a family thrill coaster that gives riders a birds-eye view of the park as they soar with Hiccup and Toothless.
In addition to thrilling rides, guests can also meet their favorite characters during meet-and-greets and enjoy The Untrainable Dragon live show. This show features Hiccup and his friends working together to solve a mystery while being entertained by musical numbers and life-sized dragons. Visitors can also indulge in delicious meals at themed eateries such as Mead Hall, Spit Fyre Grill, and Hooligan’s Grog & Gruel.
Universal has yet to reveal more details about the Isle of Berk and other lands within Epic Universe, but with Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, and Dark Universe also in the lineup, guests can expect an epic experience at Universal Orlando Resort.
