Empower Solano to host Modest Organization Month celebration honoring 5 regional companies – Instances-Herald

Empower Solano will host a ceremony on Wednesday honoring tiny companies that effectively pivoted and kept serving the neighborhood safely in the course of the pandemic, like Bay Hauling of Vallejo and its owner Juan Vallejos.

5 companies will be highlighted at the affair and their owners will obtain certificates of recognition from the offices of U.S. Congressman John Garamendi, California State Senator Bill Dodd and California Assemblymember Lori D. Wilson.

The Director of the California Workplace of Modest Organization Advocates, Tara Lynn Gray, will be keynote speaker.

“We want to spend tribute to tiny companies that have accomplished an exceptional job maintaining their doors open and serving the public in the course of unprecedented situations more than the final 3 years,” stated K. Patrice Williams, Empower Solano’s executive director and Fairfield city councilmember. “The occasion will also be a fantastic chance for any individual in small business or seeking to start off a small business to network and get some useful insights on sources out there to them in the county and at the state level.”  Williams will serve as mistress of ceremonies at the celebration.

Apart from Bay Hauling of Vallejo, other folks becoming honored at the ceremony are: Journey Coffee of Fairfield and Vacaville and the company’s owners Morne and Nicole Van Staden Two60 Kitchen and Bar of Fairfield and owner Molly Tau Marina Lounge of Suisun City and owner Elease Cheek and Tomorrow Home Supportive Living, positioned in Fairfield and owned by Duke and Gabrielle Phillippe-Auguste.

The occasion – which will take spot on Wednesday beginning at ten a.m., at the Solano-Napa Modest Organization Improvement Center, 500 Chadbourne Road, Fairfield. The public is invited and small business owners, entrepreneurs or any individual attempting to start off a small business are encouraged to attend. Admission is totally free.

Tim Murrill, executive director of the Solano-Napa Modest Organization Improvement Center, will also speak in the course of the festivities. City officials from all through the county and representatives from regional chambers of commerce have been invited. Refreshments will be served.
