Eddie Goldman expected to make a comeback with the Falcons, sources report

Eddie Goldman, a defensive tackle who was released from the Falcons’ reserve/left squad list on Tuesday, is expected to sign a new deal with the team shortly. This comes after Goldman first signed with the Falcons in July 2022 but retired shortly after. He then returned to the active roster in March before leaving the team again in July without ever playing a game for them.

Goldman’s most recent playing time came in 14 games with the Bears during the 2021 season, as he opted out in 2020 due to COVID-19 concerns. During his time with the Bears in 2021, Goldman recorded 22 tackles and a half-sack. Throughout his career, he has accumulated 175 tackles, 13 sacks, and two fumble recoveries. It will be interesting to see how he performs with the Falcons once he signs his new deal with the team.
