British players triumph in doubles matches despite rain delays.

On a rainy day at Wimbledon, four British players advanced in the doubles draws. Julian Cash, ranked 39th in the world, partnered with American Robert Galloway to win the first round of the men’s doubles. They defeated France’s Theo Arribage and New Zealander Marcus Daniell with a score of 7-6 (8-6) 6-3.

Meanwhile, Glasspool, ranked 45th in the world, teamed up with Dutch partner Jean-Julien Rojer to defeat Guido Andreozzi and Miguel Reyes-Varela 6-0 6-3. In the women’s doubles, Olivia Nicholls and Slovakian Tereza Mihalikova secured a spot in the third round with a 6-2 6-0 win against Poland’s Magda Linette and Peyton Stearns of the United States.

Unfortunately, Charles Broom and Arthur Fery’s men’s doubles match was suspended due to rain after winning the first set 6-4. Eden Silva and Samantha Murray Sharan were trailing eighth seeds Barbora Krejcikova and Laura Siegemund 7-6 (7-1) 5
