The Zimpleman College of Business at Drake University is proud to announce the latest batch of students who have been honored on the Dean’s Honor Roll for Social Impact. This group of 11 students completed a minimum of 20 hours of community service during the Spring 2024 semester and offered reflections on how their service activities impacted themselves, their community, and their professional growth.
The students named to the Spring 2024 Dean’s Honor Roll for Social Impact are Matthew Bell, Jaxon Hicks, Isabella Lopez, Natalie Maxwell, Elliot Nelson, Erika Roehrs, Isabella Schreiter, Marguerite Stoffel, Anna Sturgis, Aiden Volp and Matthew Williams.
Alejandro Hernandez, the dean of the Zimpleman College of Business, emphasized the importance of recognizing students’ dedication to volunteering. He stated that this practice instills the value of service within the college community and encourages students from different academic levels to recognize the positive impact their contributions make to both their personal growth and their community.
All undergraduate and graduate business students are encouraged to apply for inclusion in the upcoming fall semester cohort. Each semester offers a new opportunity for students to complete a minimum of 20 hours of community service and reflect on their experiences through Drake’s platform DUGood.
