South Carolina forward Collin Murray-Boyles has been named Freshman of the Week, while Texas A&M guard Tyrece Radford has been named Player of the Week. Both players had impressive performances in wins over their respective opponents.
In the win against Missouri, Radford averaged 24.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists. He scored 27 points on 9-of-17 (52.9 percent) shooting in the win against Tennessee, where he also had five rebounds and five assists. Radford efficiently made 53.1 percent of his shots and connected on 80.0 percent of his shots from the charity stripe.
On the other hand, Murray-Boyles averaged 23.5 points, eight rebounds, and 1.5 blocks in wins over Ole Miss and Vanderbilt. In the two games, he shot an impressive 78.6 percent from the floor, and had a career-high 31 points on 14-of-17 (82.4 percent) shooting to go with seven rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block against the Commodores.
Both players have shown their skills in leading their teams to victories and have earned recognition for their performances.
